Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil can be the main man for Germany during the 2016 European Championship according to Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany.
The defender has struggled with injury all season and was not included in Belgium's squad for the competition.
He joined the BBC punditry team and was full of praise for the 27-year-old before yesterday's game against Ukraine.
"What a player," Kompany said of Ozil during BBC's Match of the Day.
"Everyone is waiting for him to be the main man in that big Germany team.
"And he can do it – he's got all the talent."
