Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit says the Gunners should make a move to sign Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante.
Manager Arsene Wenger has already made an official bid to sign striker Jamie Vardy who will bring goals, speed and fighting spirit to the squad according to the 45-year-old.
But he believes Kante is another key player to add to the squad if the Gunners are to fight for next season's Premier League title.
"Arsene [Wenger] wants him because he knows what he could bring: fighting spirit," Petit is quoted as saying by the Telegraph.
"Vardy is a scoring machine. Also he will bring to the team speed and anger.
"He was unknown five years ago, now he has won the league, is playing in a major international tournament and Arsenal want to buy him. Wow, what an incredible story that is.
"Maybe Arsene wants someone to play on the left, with [Alexis] Sanchez on the right. With [Olivier] Giroud and [Danny] Welbeck it would be difficult to play him down the middle, so I suspect he wants him on the left.
"Speaking as a Frenchman and a midfielder, the man I'd love Arsene to bring from Leicester is [N'Golo] Kante. Bring Kante as well, then you have a team."
