Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Mario Gotze has turned down an offer to join Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool because he wants to enjoy Champions League football next season.
The German is a target for many top European clubs with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger ready to make an offer according to recent reports.
And talkSPORT believes the player would be ready to join the Frenchman at the Emirates.
At the end of last month, the 24-year-old did however say that he wants to work with new Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti.
"I look forward to the new season in Munich," Gotze told Bild Sport.
"I will do everything possible to be in top shape for my first training session under Carlo Ancelotti.
"I thank SportsTotal for a very good cooperation with many highlights and great memories that have shaped my career decisively."
