Arsenal are in pole position to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, Cadena Cope's Arancha Rodriguez has confirmed.
Manager Arsene Wenger wants to strengthen the offensive department ahead of next season and has already made a move to sign the 23-year-old Spaniard.
Paris Saint-German, Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the race.
"It's true, he wants to stay at Real Madrid," Rodriguez told Calciomercato.it.
"But he is open to make a move to another club.
"Next year he wants to enjoy regular first-team football and lift trophies.
"From what I've been told, Real Madrid will buy him back [from Juventus] to sell him at a profit and at the moment Arsenal is the club that showed more interest in him.
"Arsene Wenger wanted him at Arsenal before he joined Juventus so for me he will not stay at Real Madrid.
"[But] Paris Saint-Germain is also an option."
