Real Madrid striker James Rodriguez will not leave the club despite being ignored by manager Zinedine Zidane on Saturday night in Milan.
The Colombian spent the Champions League final on the bench amid reports that he will leave the Spanish giants in the summer.
But he says he wants to learn from the just-ended "strange" season and is looking forward to doing well at Madrid next season.
"Everybody put in a great performance," James told reporters after the final.
"It has been a strange season. But you learn from it when bad things happen.
"You never know what will happen in football, but my intention is to stay at Madrid.
"I want to stay at this club for many more years. I am happy at Madrid. This is the ideal club for me and I want to stay put."
