Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will finally get the striker of his dreams according to a number of "insiders" on Twitter.
Reports on Friday morning claimed that the Gunners are ready to make a move for Leicester City's Jamie Vardy who was described as a "player of exceptional quality" by the Frenchman at the start of the year.
Wenger was speaking after Arsenal signed scout Ben Wrigglesworth from Leicester City, the one to spot Vardy when he played for Fleetwood Town.
"We try to get the best people in every department and the Leicester scout [Ben Wrigglesworth] was on our list," Wenger said in February.
"Not just because they are top of the league but because we heard about his quality and we want the best," Wenger said of the signing.
"Yes, of course [we want the next Vardy].
"If a scout comes to convince me that this is a player of exceptional quality at that level I will take a gamble. They are out there - stars in non-League football."
