Italian giants Juventus are already working to strengthen their squad ahead of next summer and want to sign Empoli's Riccardo Saponara, Sky Sport Italy revealed.
But they will face competition from Arsenal and Monaco.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sees the Italian as the one to take over from England international Theo Walcott.
The former Southampton man is expected to leave the Emirates during the summer transfer window after a very disappointed campaign for the Gunners.
Saponara, 24, is available for £12million.
