Arsenal are determined to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka and they intend to do so before the start of Euro 2016.
The Gunners are ready to offer £35million to secure the services of the Swiss international and the German club confirmed that negotiations are ongoing.
Meanwhile, the youngster told Swiss television channel SRF that he is the "wrong person to ask" about the interest but did admit that he would be delighted to be part of Arsene Wenger's squad.
The player confirmed that a decision will be taken before next month.
