Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger can invest "as much money as he wants" during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners ended yet another disappointing campaign as they finished second in the Premier League behind Claudio Ranieri's Leicester City.
Fans have been vocal when it comes to the Frenchman's transfer policy but things could change this summer according to the 66-year-old.
"Stan Kroenke is completely behind myself and the board investing as much money as we want," Wenger is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"It has to be in respect of a balanced budget, we have resources but the problem is finding players.
"Everybody has money in England and they're all after good players.
"The good players aren't legion, you have to be shrewd and be a little bit lucky."
