As expected, Arsenal crash out of the Champions League, yet again in the Last 16 round.
Surprisingly, fans on Twitter were full of praise for the display of the Gunners but again criticised the finishing in the final third.
Cant say we didnt try & went for it.It was uphill battle.Lets keep up the spirit & try for premier league by winning all games.#Arsenal #AFC

Looking at positive side, Elneny is hard working. Iwobi is quite capable of playing in big games. #AFC

Excellent performances from Iwobi, Welbeck, and Elneny

Not passing the blame. Nothing to lose. Created chances, didn't give up! Yes didn't finish the chances but we played the best of the best

May have lost but at least we made a fight of it. Proud of that display. Harsh score line. all I will say is how many chances do u want #afc

This #Arsenal team needs a complete overhaul from the board, to the manager and last but not the least, THE TEAM. #AFC

5-1 on aggregate so undeserved. Not a true reflection at all

Final score bit harsh on team but as usual we promise a lot but can't deliver (or won't buy) the quality - that's @Arsenal #afc #coyg

Arsenal played a lot better than I thought they would. 3-1 flatters them, shame we can't actually finish a chance! #AFC
