Arsenal legend Thierry Henry believes the Gunners will not be title contenders unless they sign a holding midfielder and a striker before the transfer window shuts down.
The Frenchman believes that a "massive week" awaits Arsenal as the summer transfer window enters its final stages.
Striker Karim Benzema took to Twitter to rubbish rumours linking him with a move to the Emirates with recent reports claiming that manager Arsene Wenger has turned his attention to Paris Saint-Germain man Edinson Cavani.
"I think it is going to be a massive week," Henry told Sky Sports.
"Are they going to buy someone up front or in the middle of the park? They were missing a lot of players tonight [against Liverpool].
"They still need a holding midfielder and they still need a striker.
"We have been saying it since the beginning of the season."
