The transfer of Arsenal striker Joel Campbell to Palermo has been put on hold after the two clubs failed to reach a financial agreement, club president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave the Gunners during the summer transfer window with reports claiming that he will be sold for £7m.
But Zamparini - who is in London to finalise the transfer - says the Costa Rican is not yet a Palermo player.
"I'm here in London to try a final drive for the player, but Arsenal aren't moving from their initial positions," the president told Il Giornale di Sicilia.
"Campbell is unattainable as of now.
"If some margins open up for a negotiation then all for the better, otherwise we can't do anything."
