Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is determined to add Grzegorz Krychowiak to his squad after he sent scouts to monitor the Sevilla midfielder on Tuesday evening.
The Poland international has a buy-out clause of £22m and is one of the main targets for the Gunners according to reports in Italy.
In June, the 25-year-old was linked with a possible move to Real Madrid but reports now claim that Arsenal are strong favourites to secure the services of the player.
It is believed that Wenger first made an approach for the midfielder during the 2014 January transfer window and is now ready to make a fresh move to add competition in midfield.
