Arsenal are plotting a deal to sign Real Madrid star Lucas Silva, according to the Daily Star.
The 22-year-old joined Real Madrid during the January transfer window but struggled to secure a regular place in Carlo Ancelotti's line-up and things are not expected to change under new manager Rafa Benitez.
The youngster is also a target for Chelsea and Manchester United according to reports in England.
Reports claim that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants the Brazilian to add competition in midfield where the only options at the moment are those of Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini.
