Arsenal legend Nigel Winterburn says it will not be easy for manager Arsene Wenger to pick his starting line-up for today's game against West Ham United.
The likes of Hector Bellerin in defence and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the offensive department have been impressive in pre-season but they will face competition from Mathieu Debuchy and Alexis Sanchez.
And according to the 51-year-old, whoever will sit on the bench will be bitterly disappointed for not making the starting eleven.
"You look from the back and Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny will be the two centre halves with Petr Cech in goal," Winterburn told Express Sport.
"When you get past those, you say Olivier Giroud is the centre forward and when Alexis Sanchez comes back he will play on the left.
"But I think after that with all the players Arsenal have got and particularly with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's impressive pre-season, there's a lot of debate.
"I think if you ask ten different Arsenal fans what their line up would be, not one of them would give you the same team.
"Hector did very well at right back. He's a young player and people might say he doesn't have a lot of experience but once you've played in the team, you don't want to be sitting on the bench even if you're young.
"He will feel disappointed if he doesn't start the season so I think him and Mathieu Debuchy will rotate. I still think at the moment Debuchy is the better full back in terms of defence but Hector is improving dramatically.
"I think the competition between both sets of full backs is very close and it's almost impossible to say one of those players will play the majority of games."
