Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says West Ham United will be more dangerous than last season after adding important players to their squad.
The Hammers crashed out of the Europa League in the third qualifying round following defeat at the hands of Romanian side Astra Giurgiu.
Manager Slaven Bilic left a number of senior players at home ahead of Sunday's game at the Emirates as a clear indication that their objective is to do well in this season's Premier League.
"I believe that the manager changed and the squad not so much," Wenger told reporters.
"They added quality players, especially [Dimitri] Payet, who is a very creative and efficient player. Overall I think they have more potential than last season offensively."
Asked if he is happy with his squad ahead of the last month of the transfer window, the Frenchman said: "Yeah, of course I'm happy with the squad I have.
"I'm very happy with the squad I have but we always look to strengthen and if that turns up, we will still strengthen.
"[Benzema?] I never came out on Karim Benzema. It is just media talk."
