Arsenal are expected to make a fresh move for Juventus target Julian Draxler.
Schalke 04 have rejected a £15.5m offer from the Italian champions for the striker at the end of last month.
Head coach Andre Breitenreiter insists that the player will not leave the club but also that he would be helpless to prevent the player from leaving this summer if the Bundesliga side receive an important bid.
"Julian is still with us and I don’t want him to go," Breitenreiter told Bild.
"I want to hear that he is 100 per cent staying. If a new offer comes in, then I will oppose his sale. No club is authorised to speak with the player any more.
"If the club were to receive an offer we can’t refuse, then I don’t know what would happen."
