Barcelona striker Pedro says Chelsea made no contact over the possibility of signing him during the summer.
The 27-year-old is a target for a number of European clubs including Arsenal and Chelsea but will start pre-season with the Spanish giants on Wednesday.
Barcelona reduced his buy-out clause from £107m to £21.5m as a clear indication that he could leave the club in the summer.
"It's true that both parties decided to reduce my release clause, and it's true that there are offers," Pedro is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"I'm in a difficult situation at Barcelona, but I don't want to jump the gun. I just want to start working with my team-mates again.
"I'm not thinking about the future.
"For now, I want to rest and be quiet before starting pre-season with my teammates on Wednesday. We'll then see what happens.
"I haven't spoken to [Jose] Mourinho, but I don't want to say anything else because it would be disrespectful to my club, Barcelona."
