Arsenal are tracking Manchester United defender Jonny Evans to strengthen their defence, Mirror has reported.
The 27-year-old is a target for West Bromwich Albion and Everton but the Gunners are ready to offer £10m to secure the services of the player.
According to reports, boss Louis van Gaal is ready to sell the Northern Irishman who will be replaced by Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos or Valencia's Nicolas Otamendi.
So far, Arsenal signed only Petr Cech in the transfer window but they are expected to sign at least one defender and one offensive player in the coming weeks.
