Petr Cech: Why I chose the number 33 jersey at Arsenal

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech says he opted for the #33 jersey at Arsenal for three main reasons.

His age, the total number of games played in the Premier League and the fact that the human vertebral column consists of 33 vertebrae made the Czech international choose the #33 at his new club.

In what he described as an "easy choice" on Twitter, Cech's decision was confirmed by the club on Sunday morning.

The goalkeeper is expected to feature against Singapore Selection XI next Wednesday.
