Everton join race to sign unsettled Arsenal goalkeeper

By

Everton are reportedly eyeing Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, the Daily Star has reported.

It is clear that the Colombia international will no longer enjoy first-team football at the club after the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea.

He is determined to fight to keep his regular place in Arsene Wenger's squad but he could be tempted to leave the Gunners if Everton or Fenerbahce promise regular football for next season.

"I have always had to fight for the title position at all of my clubs," Ospina is quoted as saying by The Telegraph.

"You expect a big club like Arsenal to improve the squad but you must always impress the manager in training."
