Arsenal are exploring the possibility of signing highly-rated Barcelona striker Pedro Rodriguez, the Telegraph has revealed.
The 27-year-old failed to secure a regular place at the Camp Nou last season and could decide to leave the club in the summer.
But at the end of last month, Barcelona presidential candidate Josep Maria Bartomeu revealed that coach Luis Enrique considers the Spaniard an important player and is not interested in letting him go in the summer.
"Pedro is not on the transfer market," Bartomeu said.
"He is part of Luis Enrique's plans for next season."
