New Galatasaray striker Lukas Podolski was full of praise for the Turkish club after joining from Arsenal.
The Germany international has signed a three-year deal with the option of a fourth for an estimated fee of £10m.
He leaves the Emirates after struggling to secure a regular place in Arsene Wenger's squad.
He spent the last five months of last season at Internazionale, scoring only one goal for the Nerazzurri.
"First of all I would like to thank everyone," Podolski told reporters.
"My parents supported me to go to Galatasaray and I am very happy for it to be agreed.
"I came to a winning team that will compete in the Champions League if we qualify.
"Galatasaray fans gave support in the years to me last year and I feel a large share of warmth today while I'm signing."
