Confirmed: Arsenal and Manchester United suffer blow in race for top striker

By

Arsenal and Manchester United target Edinson Cavani will not leave Paris Saint-Germain, agent Claudio Anellucci has confirmed.

The 28-year-old is one of the many strikers linked with a possible move to the English Premier League but Anellucci says his client is happy in Paris and will continue in Ligue 1 next season.

"Juventus signed [Mario] Mandzukic so I doubt they will sign more players in attack," Anellucci told Calciomercato.it.

"Milan? I don't think Italian clubs have the financial resources to sign a player like Cavani.

"Besides, Edinson made it clear that he is happy in Paris and he wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.

"There's nothing more to add."
