Arsenal legend Ian Wright says the Gunners will be title contenders if they finalise the signing of goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea.
The 33-year-old is expected to leave Stamford Bridge after more than ten years at the club.
He joined the Blues from Rennes in 2004.
He only played 16 games for Chelsea last season with boss Jose Mourinho opting for Thibaut Courtois in Premier League and Champions League games.
"If we can get the Cech deal over the line then it'll be a genuinely terrific bit of business by Wenger," Wright wrote on Breathesport.com.
"He'll earn us around 10 or 15 points a season and that will make us title challengers."
Cech is expected to take over from regular goalkeeper David Ospina in the Arsenal goal with the Colombian expected to leave the Emirates after only one season at the club.
