West Ham United want to keep defender Carl Jenkinson on loan from Arsenal for another season but they face stiff competition with several other Premier League clubs in for the right-back, the Telegraph reports.
The Englishman joined Arsenal from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2011 but never managed to secure a regular place in Arsene Wenger's squad.
He signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners in December of 2012 but was loaned out to West Ham United last summer.
Sunderland have reportedly made a £2m offer to sign the player on loan with the Hammers determined to extend his loan spell at the Boleyn Ground.
