Arsenal are keeping tabs on Iker Casillas' situation at Real Madrid with news that David de Gea is closing in on a move from Manchester United, the London Evening Standard reports.
Boss Arsene Wenger wants to add an experienced goalkeeper to his squad after David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny failed to convince him this season.
Chelsea's Petr Cech continues to be a target but the Frenchman is also keeping an eye on the 34-year-old Spaniard who is set to be replaced by Manchester United's David De Gea at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Meanwhile, Spain coach Vicente del Bosque opted not to comment on the goalkeeper's possible move away from Spain.
"I've got nothing to say on that," Del Bosque said at a news conference.
"Casillas is, for all intents and purposes, a Real Madrid player. It's a rumour and when it's confirmed I will give my opinion - but not now."
