Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is ready to stay at the club if boss Arsene Wenger decides that he can still be an asset in his squad.
The German was a January transfer signing by Internazionale at the start of the year but struggled to secure a regular place in Roberto Mancini's team.
He was linked with a move to Werder Bremen and Galatasaray last month but is ready to stay at the Emirates.
"They [Arsenal] are a great club and I think I can help them," Podolski is quoted as saying by the BBC.
"Things can always change, but if needs be I will remain at Arsenal next season.
"You can take experience from everywhere you play abroad, even if it was not my best year from a sporting perspective.
"But I still have many years ahead of me and a burning desire to play football."
