Arsenal will make a move for Chelsea striker Loic Remy according to reports in Italy.
The 28-year-old was a target for Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Internazionale before he opted to sign for Chelsea with the Gunners set to make a fresh move this summer.
Meanwhile, former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson believes Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho should replaced Remy with Aston Villa's Christian Benteke.
"Benteke ticks all the boxes," Merson is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"That is the one position they definitely need, especially with Drogba going.
“I don’t think Remy is that good. If you played Remy for 10 games I don’t think they would win the league.
"I think the way Benteke plays he could come in for Costa like-for-like."
