Arsenal legend Liam Brady says it is unlikely for boss Arsene Wenger to sign a top-class striker this summer.
The Gunners have been linked with Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain and Real Madrid's Karim Benzema so far this summer but the 59-year-old says the Frenchman will probably invest in midfield with James Milner and Morgan Schneiderlin possible targets.
"I don't see Arsenal going in for a striker that's going to cost £40-50m," Brady told talkSPORT.
"Arsenal have a good scouting system though and I think we could find somebody that may challenge Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott for a place up front.
"You can never have too many good strikers.
"Also, they maybe need a defensive midfield player. Someone like James Milner or Morgan Schneiderlin might be on the list.
"Schneiderlin is good on the ball and in the tackle. I like the look of him."
