Cerro Porteno's Sergio Ismael Diaz Velazquez says his dream is to play for Arsenal but admits his future will be in Italy.
The striker, 17, will join Roma for £4.5m and joins a long list of young players to make a move to the Italian capital.
Antonio Sanabria, Leandro Paredes, Carlos Carbonero, Valmir Berisha and Salih Ucan are all poised to fight for a regular team in the near future at Roma and Diaz is expected to do the same after impressing in South America.
"My dream is to play for Arsenal, which I've had since I was a child," he told Paraguay's RGS Radio.
"My future? I am told my transfer to Roma is all but done.
"At the moment it is still very quiet; I do not know when I will leave for Italy but in essence my move to Roma has been confirmed."
