Arsenal have made an approach to sign Ki Sung-yueng from Swansea, Express Sport reports.
The 26-year-old midfielder was initially linked with a possible move to Aston Villa but would be open to move to the Emirates to enjoy Champions League next season.
Meanwhile, Germany international Lukas Podolski will make his return to the Emirates but is not expected to feature for the Gunners next season.
According to Sport Mediaset, the 29-year-old will be announced as a Galatasaray player at the start of next month.
The striker spent the last five months on loan at Internazionale but struggled to secure a regular place in Roberto Mancini's side.
Last month, Mancini explained that the player will not continue with the Nerazzurri to go back to Arsenal.
