Arsenal are ready to make a fresh move for former Newcastle United man Yohan Cabaye.
Two seasons ago, the Gunners made a bid of about £10m for the French midfielder but he turned down the offer to join Paris Saint-Germain during the 2014 January transfer window.
Arsenal are expected to lose a number of players in midfield with Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini both set to leave the Emirates.
The 29-year-old struggled to secure a regular place at Paris Saint-Germain and admitted that he is desperate for regular football next season.
"It is a distinct moment in my career," Cabaye said.
"I have never been through this before.
"One has to accept it but also try to change it. It is super important for me, I want to play Euro 2016.
"I need to speak to the boss and my representatives to see what is best for me."
