Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea are not alone in their chase for Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin.
According to reports from Italy, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are ready to offer Toby Alderweireld and cash to sign the £25m midfielder from the Saints.
It is however unlikely that the 25-year-old will pick Atletico over Arsenal or Chelsea after saying that his desire is to continue in the English Premier League.
"The goal is to stay in England," Schneiderlin told After Foot RMC.
"It is a championship that I like and where I have a lot of fun. If I leave Southampton, it is for a club that plays better than the Europa League.
"There are ongoing discussions but nothing is done. But of course the Champions League is my goal. If I leave Southampton it will be for a club in the Champions League."
Saints boss Ronald Koeman made it clear earlier this month that no offer has been made for the Frenchman.
"I don't think so [he will leave]," the Dutchman said.
"He has a contract with the club and nobody has made a serious bid for the player.
"Ok it's all about the rumours but I can't listen to all the rumours because then I will be crazy.
"He's a good player and more players of Southampton are linked or will be linked with other clubs."
