Midfielder Santi Cazorla was full of praise for the way Arsenal tackled Liverpool in their 4-1 win at the Emirates.
The Gunners produced another scintillating display of football against the Reds registering their seventh consecutive win in the English Premier League.
Only leaders Chelsea have scored more goals than Arsene Wenger's men this season as the Gunners prepare for two away games against Burnley and Reading before hosting Chelsea at the Emirates on April 26.
"It's a very important win for us because Liverpool are with us fighting for the Champions League," Cazorla told Arsenal's official website.
"Liverpool have very good players with Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho but the team played very compact and played together, which is very important for us. When we defend together, we always win.
"The confidence is high for everyone and we need to play the same. Now we have a week of rest, and then we need to prepare for the next game."
