Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker was delighted after yet another clean sheet for his side this time against Monaco in the Champions League.
The Gunners only conceded two goals in March, both coming away from home against Queens Park Rangers and Manchester United.
And they will be eager to continue their impressive defensive record when they take on Newcastle United at the St James' Park on Saturday afternoon.
"We had a great chance and could have scored more than two goals, so we're very disappointed that we didn't go through," Mertesacker told the club's official website.
"You could see in recent weeks that we have good form, good confidence levels and we showed that here.
"Even defensively they didn't create many chances and we had a couple more chances to score.
"Performance-wise I'm very pleased but it wasn't enough and [Monaco] earned it by playing well in the first leg."
