Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini will not feature against Everton on Sunday.
The 24-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in Arsenal's 2-1 win against Leicester City and is close to making a return after almost a month on the sidelines.
The Frenchman is also expected to be back in time to face Manchester United in the FA Cup next week.
"They [Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini] come back into normal training today and tomorrow," Wenger said on Friday morning.
"They are nearly there, not completely there. From Wednesday night I don't think we have lost anybody. We have no major problems."
Asked to give an update on Jack Wilshere, the 65-year-old explained: "Jack Wilshere had a little surgery to take his two buttons off his ankle.
"They were irritating him but it's a very minor procedure. He'll be out for a few days. Days, not weeks.
"It was irritating his ankle and they had to take it off [but] no, [it's not another setback], it was planned to be done at the end of the season. But because he had an irritation with it, we decided to do it now. It's a few days."
Wenger also gave an update on long-term absentees Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Mathieu Debuchy, all not expected to return anytime soon.
"The only thing I must say [on Abou Diaby] is that he progresses well in training," the Arsenal manager explained.
"He goes step by step but he has not played yet and is not in a position to play yet. They [Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy] are still a few weeks away."
