Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud says he is pleased to have joined 47 other players who scored 50 or more goals for the North London club.
The Frenchman joins the likes of Thierry Henry, Ian Wright and Robin van Persie in the list as he revealed the reason behind his celebration.
"I'm really pleased with my statistics and I try to help the team as much as I can to win the games," Giroud told the club's official website.
"I feel really good with my body and the games.
"I knew that Johanna - a young girl who I knew from the south of France that I visited at hospital a few months ago - passed away so I was really affected by that and that's why I wanted to pay a homage to her [with my celebration], her family and her parents.
"It was a crazy end to the game and we were a bit lucky but I think we deserved the win. It could've been frustrating if we didn't come back with the three points so I think we need to be cautious and more focused at the end of the game."
