Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger foresees a bright future for young striker Chuba Akpom.
In action against Aston Villa last week at the Emirates, the 19-year-old was a target for Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Red Bull Salzburg, Feyenoord and FC Twente during the winter transfer window.
But Wenger, who says the player is quality, opted to keep the Englishman in his squad.
"We [gave] another opportunity to Chuba Akpom [against Aston Villa] and he has shown that he has quality when he comes on as well," the manager told Arsenal Player.
"[Chuba] looks dangerous and you can see that he will score goals."
Meanwhile, the Frenchman was full of praise for striker Olivier Giroud who scored his eight goal of the season against Villa on Saturday.
"He's much more focused," Wenger said.
"Technically he has improved, his feet have improved, his movement has improved and he has a big presence in the game.
"It's no coincidence that when he comes back, you feel strong."
