Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says striker Danny Welbeck gives him plenty of options in the offensive department.
With the return of Olivier Giroud in the side, the Englishman was shifted on the wing, a solution the Frenchman may keep adopting in the future.
"He's [Danny Welbeck's] a striker. He plays left, right, central. For me that's not important," Wenger said.
"We have so many crosses coming in that there are always chances if you play on the flanks as well."
Asked to give an update on injured players, Wenger said: "[Kieran] Gibbs struggled a little bit with an ankle problem and [Nacho] Monreal with a knee problem. [Alex] Oxlade-Chamberlain also had a knee problem.
"I don't know [how serious they are].
"We have to see how they recover on Monday. We have Oxlade-Chamberlain, Monreal and Gibbs who have knocks but I don't know how bad it is."
