The agent of former Birmingham City striker Nikola Zigic revealed that Arsenal are ready to sign the 33-year-old.
With striker Olivier Giroud ruled out until the end of the year, a new striker is a priority for manager Arsene Wenger who wants to sign the experienced striker until the end of the year.
"It is true, Wenger called me on Tuesday afternoon and told me that he wants to bring Zigic to Arsenal," Milan Calasan told SPORT.
"It is clear that you cannot reject an offer like that. But Zigic is the one who must decide. He must say what he wants.
"Wenger was clear, he is offering a contract until the end of the season with the option for another 12 months."
With only a few days left before the end of the summer transfer window, the Gunners are eager to add a new striker to their squad but Zigic is ready to listen to other offers.
"I know that Arsenal are in a hurry, but Nikola also has offers from Turkey and Switzerland," added the agent.
