Rudi Garcia bemoans dropped points

By

Roma coach Rudi Garcia was very upset after his side failed to take all three points against Atalanta this afternoon.

With Lazio dropping points on Saturday, the Giallorossi had a golden opportunity to leapfrog their rivals for second place.

But they again fail to take all three points at home with Napoli the only team winning in the battle for a top three finish.

"Rather than disappointed I'm angry," Garcia told Roma TV.

"We had to take advantage of this opportunity [Lazio dropping points] especially after taking such an early lead.

"It was too big of an opportunity to pass up.

"Atalanta defended well and we missed key players but we should have done better.

"We'll analyse the game tomorrow. A training session was not scheduled but we will train, it's not because the lads are not doing a good job but sometimes it's not enough."
