Roma coach Rudi Garcia says the win over Cesena on Sunday night showed that his squad is united.
With Lazio and Sampdoria both winning their respective games, the Giallorossi desperately needed all three points to keep hold of second place in the table.
And the Frenchman says the focus will now be immediately shifted to his side's next game against Napoli after the international break.
"The lads showed they are united," Garcia told Sky Sport Italy.
"They showed character on a difficult away venue. Other teams failed to win here. I liked the behaviour of the squad, solid and serious, trying to score in any possible way.
"It's also a good thing that our captain, [Daniele] De Rossi, scored the winning goal.
"I'm [also] happy with the performance of [Seydou] Doumbia, he did well.
"As I told my players we should win all remaining games to turn this season into a positive one.
"It's no use looking beyond the next game, that's what we'll do until the end of the season.
"Our focus is now on the Napoli game."
