Coach Rudi Garcia says the manner of Roma's comeback against Juventus was the perfect response to Vasilis Torosidis' red card.
The Giallorossi battled hard to restore parity and keep their slim title hopes alive after Carlos Tevez gave Juventus the lead with a brilliant free kick 64th minute.
And although the Bianconeri still enjoy a nine-point lead at the top, Garcia believes that anything can happen in the last 13 games of the season.
"We knew that it was going to be a very tactical game and a very difficult one against Italy's best defence" Garcia said.
"[In the first half] we were not patient enough, we should have passed the ball with better speed.
"But it's not that you win a game in the first half and I wouldn't say I was disappointed with what I saw in the first half.
"For example I also didn't like the first 15 minutes of the second half where we lost way too many balls and failed to press high up the pitch.
"But we were brave to recover after getting reduced to ten men, we have to keep these 20 minutes in mind because we will win many more games if we keep playing like this.
"There are 13 games left, many points up for grabs.
"I repeat what I said before; we will do our best to protect the second place in the table, it's the only way to attack the first spot."
