Coach Rudi Garcia says Roma must take all three points when they host Parma on Sunday.
Early struggles at the start of the new year saw the Giallorossi lose ground to leaders Juventus and the Frenchman says the win is the only acceptable result from tomorrow's game.
"We have no option tomorrow other than the three points," Garcia said.
"Despite their position in the table, Parma never give up. They only lost in the last minute of the game in the Italian Cup against the leaders so we have to be fully focused on the job."
And Roma will be happy to see strikers Gervinho and Seydou Doumbia returning after the two won the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast.
"No player is irreplaceable," the 50-year-old said on Gervinho.
"No player of mine is irreplaceable. Let's not forget that with the only exception of the Italian Cup game we always scored goals, even without the African players.
"We know what type of player he [Seydou Doumbia] is, the numbers speak for him, he's a striker, he knows how to score. That is what we expect from him, without putting any pressure on his shoulders.
"He only trained once, his job at the moment is to settle down. I had a chat with him, after the Parma game we will have more time to work together but he's ready."
