Roma coach Rudi Garcia admits he is wary of Fiorentina's quality ahead of Tuesday's Italian Cup clash.
Roma host Vincenzo Montella's men knowing that the Italian Cup could be their best shot at silverware this season but they will have to improve on their performance at the Stadio Artemio Franchi when the two teams shared the points.
"We played Fiorentina twice [this season] and we know it's going to be tough," Garcia said.
"They are quality but tomorrow is a game we want to win. I did think about [a possible semi-final tie] with Juventus but for now let's focus on tomorrow's game."
The Giallorossi fell seven points behind leaders Juventus and the Frenchman says the support of the fans is a must if they are to close the gap from the Bianconeri.
"Those who know me know that when the going gets tough I get tougher and believe more in the squad.
"We have to be honest; we have to improve the way we approach games. We're getting way too many draws, also because of bad luck. We lost Iturbe, [Kevin] Strootman - who we will see next season - and don't get me started on [Leandro] Castan.
"[Seydou] Keita is right, we are strong and we have to be confident. We also need the support of the fans, it's easy to be happy when things are going according to plan but we need them now.
"The fans should know that the players always give their 100% out there. We are united, the players know they have to give something more but we've been unlucky [with injuries]."
Asked to comment on new signings Victor Ibarbo and Seydou Doumbia, Garcia explained: "With them we'll be strong in attack.
"There is nothing to say on Doumbia, just take a look at the numbers. He can score goals and we're waiting for him just as we're waiting for Gervinho at the end of the African Nations Cup.
"Ibarbo can be a champion, he has to work hard but he's talented. We just have to assess his fitness level, he's been out for some time so we will not take unnecessary risks with him."
