Roma coach Rudi Garcia says tomorrow's game against Manchester City is like a final.
The Citizens must win to have any chance of making it through the group stage but will be without striker Sergio Aguero.
And Garcia says the Argentine's absence is bad news for the game of football.
"No, [this is not my most important game as Roma coach]," Garcia said.
"All games are important but this one is like a final. We were in the fourth pot, they are England's reigning champions.
"We have to go out there convinced of the win, taking advantage of the chances we will get.
"[Sergio Aguero's injury] is very bad news, he is a top player and should be on the pitch, just like all important players in the game.
"I'm sorry he'll be missing tomorrow but we know Manchester City is strong although our focus should be on our game."
Meanwhile, the Frenchman confirmed that Daniele de Rossi is mentally ready to face the Citizens.
The midfielder was last week in the headlines after his ex-wife Tamara Pisnoli was held by police for allegedly taking part in a plan to kidnap a Roman businessman to extort money.
"Already before the game against Internazionale I read about issues having nothing to do with the game," Garcia said.
"I am Daniele's coach and these issues don't cover one percent of what is important [for him].
"It's a shame we will not have him against Genoa [due to suspension] but he's a very important player, a great champion, both on and off the pitch."
