Roma coach Rudi Garcia says his players did exceptionally well against Chievo on Saturday afternoon.
The Giallorossi were in top form as they eased past the Gialloblu with Mattia Destro, Adem Ljajic and Francesco Totti getting all three goals in the first 35 minutes of the game.
"The strategy was to produce a strong start and we managed to score three goals in the first half," Garcia said during his press conference.
"It was a good response after the international break, especially from those who scored.
"We then made sure to control the game, we were intelligent in doing so, it was important to prepare Tuesday's "small" game in the best way possible.
"It was planned for [Francesco] Totti and [Daniele] De Rossi to play.
"I liked the attitude of the players, I saw 14 wolves out there, that's how it always should be."
Asked about Tuesday's Champions League game against Bayern Munich, Garcia explained: "We're clearly the underdogs.
"We have to be at our 100% best, hoping for Bayern to be at their 70% best.
"I can't wait for Tuesday, the Olympic Stadium will be on fire. Only the Champions League can create this [atmosphere].
"We have to be confident, we have to impose our game."
