Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri was clearly satisfied after his side eased past Club Brugge by 5-0 on Thursday afternoon.
After struggling in their first few games of the season, the Partenopei were back to their best as they swept aside the Belgians in superb fashion.
And Sarri says his players are finally discovering their best possible fitness level.
"We're improving, I can take a lot of positive from the game," Sarri told reporters.
"Despite a difficult start to the season I see that the team is lively and eager to do well. We lacked consistency so far but today I also saw the right attitude to close the game out.
"We're physically improving and many players are close to their best. On Sunday we face Lazio and I will assess the players on Friday morning.
"[The 4-3-3] is a formation I'm taking in consideration, it offers a lot of positive aspects but less positive ones as well. For example [Gonzalo] Higuain is isolated up front and [Manolo] Gabbiadini would also struggle. But it's also true [Jose] Callejon and [Dries] Mertens are two forward players who like to attack the wing and this helped today."
