Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri says he wants his players to show character and personality when they take on Empoli on Sunday.
The Partenopei are still without a win after losing away at Sassuolo and managing only a draw at home against Sampdoria.
But the 56-year-old says he is not concerned about the disappointing start to the new campaign.
"I want character and personality against Empoli," Sarri said on Saturday.
"We have to grow mentally because we will play against a very strong and organised opposition.
"[Concerned about our position in the table?] I like to work on the project so having one point in the table doesn't affect me. When I was at Empoli I registered four points in nine game but in the next nine games I registered 23 points.
"We have to work hard, I'm not thinking about rotation because we take it one game at a time. In certain areas of the pitch we have many players available so upcoming fixtures should not be a concern.
"Gonzalo [Higuain] is fit, he produced a very good first hour of the game against Sampdoria but what I like about him is that he trains and works with intensity."
